Susan Begg has had 25 years experience advising government and corporate clients on regulatory issues, competition policy, organisational structure, governance and corporate restructuring.
Prior to establishing Impetus Group, she worked for Credit Suisse First Boston NZ as a vice president and head of the economic advisory unit in the investment banking division.
She has undertaken a number of major studies of organisational, governance, and regulatory issues in the electricity, water, roading, education, airports, food, oil and gas industries for private sector and government clients. She has assisted clients with a range of Commerce Act matters. She has advised clients on corporate restructuring issues, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, cost of capital, asset valuation, capital structure and privatisation.
Susan holds a BSc in chemistry and a MCom in economics, both with first class honours from the University of Canterbury.
